Courtesy National Gallery Singapore </figcaption></figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Chng Hak-Peng has been appointed the new CEO of the National Gallery Singapore, taking over from <a href=\"https://artreview.com/eugene-tan-to-helm-national-gallery-singapore-and-singapore-art-museum/\">Eugene Tan</a>.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tan has led NGS for two years, having been director since 2013. In 2024 he was appointed to the concurrent role of CEO and director of the Singapore Art Museum, a position he will continue in. </p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under Tan’s leadership NGS made its first major rehang since opening in 2015 and increased the focus on the art of Southeast Asia.
