The Julia Stoschek Foundation has announced that it will close its Berlin location at the end of October.

\n\n\n\n

Headquartered in Dusseldorf, the Foundation, which manages a collection of over 1,000 works of time-based art, opened its satellite space in Berlin in 2016. Since then, the Berlin location hosted 22 exhibitions, including solo shows of Arthur Jafa, Meriem Bennani and Mark Leckey.

According to a statement released by the Foundation, the closure marks a ‘strategic realignment’ as it starts to focus on international projects. What a Wonderful World: An Audiovisual Poem, the Foundation’s first major exhibition in the US, just concluded in Los Angeles.
