Courtesy the artist</figcaption></figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2027 Sharjah Biennial,&nbsp;<a href=\"https://artreview.com/angela-harutyunuan-and-paula-nascimento-to-curate-sharjah-biennial-17/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">curated by Angela Harutyunyan and Paula Nascimento</a>, will be titled&nbsp;<em>What remains, sits restive</em>, the Sharjah Art Foundation has announced.&nbsp;</p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition will consider how our present is ‘troubled by what remains of unlived pasts’ through the separate approaches of each curator.&nbsp;</p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harutyunyan’s section will trace the afterlives of socialist modernity through the work of 55 participants:</p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https://artreview.com/2019-venice-questionnaire-alban-muja/\">Alban Muja</a>;
