The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts has announced that artists Hsu Chia-Wei and Ho Tzu-Nyen will be curating the 2019 edition of Asian Art Biennial, which is due to open in October. The artists will be ‘bringing the process of artistic production into the curatorial horizons’, ‘introducing transdisciplinary curatorial practice through a more flexible and adaptive exhibition installation’ and addressing ‘cultural issues and formal hybridisation exclusive to Asian arts from multiple dimensions and perspectives’. The theme is yet to be announced, however the museum has committed to inviting 30 artists/artists groups from Asia to participate.
