In 2065, an adolescent satellite comes to Earth hoping to become the first AI artist… Lawrence Lek’s Geomancer plays on the tensions between human and machine, the rise of East Asia and the challenge posed by artificial intelligence to the principles of art.
The screening is part of a yearlong collaboration between ArtReview and Modern Forms, which takes as a point of departure the complex systems shaping our world.
Doors open at 6.30 pm; the screening will start at 7 pm with drinks available at the (cash only) bar before and after the film.
