Join Hans Ulrich Obrist and novelist Adam Thirlwell on Wednesday 22 May at Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac.
Part of the United Artists for Europe programme, the conversation will discuss literature as a multilingual art form, creolisation, portable Europes and the construction of multiple identities.
ADAM THIRLWELL’s novels – Politics, The Escape and Lurid & Cute – have been translated into 30 languages. He is currently working on Studio Créole, a group show curated with Hans-Ulrich Obrist for the 2019 Manchester International Festival. He received the EM Forster Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters in 2015, and was made a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2018
