Chris Fite-Wassilak

Chris Fite-Wassilak is an Associate Editor at ArtReview, whose writing touches on speech bubbles, bacteria, experimental art schools and project spaces, voice-over narration and everything in between. Writing as an art critic since 2007, he also written for Art Monthly, e-flux, Vittles and The Quietus, among others, and is a recipient of an Andy Warhol Art Writers Grant. His books include the short collection of essays Ha-Ha Crystal and The Artist in Time, a set of interviews with older artists, as well as contributions to Curating Research, Microbiopolitics of Milk, Out of Time, Out of Place: Public Art (Now) and Politics of Food, alongside numerous artists’ monographs. He is currently writing a nonfiction book on cheese and hygiene culture.
