Partnerships Manager, Europe (maternity contract, up to 12 months, Europe based)

We are currently seeking a confident, proactive, and experienced Partnerships Manager (Europe) to join our team on a 1-year maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven individual to lead on media sales and strategic partnerships across the European region, working with major cultural institutions, brands, and clients.
About this role
The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for driving revenue through media sales and the development of strategic partnerships, while also representing ArtReview at key industry events across Europe. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, a creative and entrepreneurial mindset, and an in-depth understanding of the art and lifestyle sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Generation – Sell print, digital, and custom partnership products by identifying prospects and developing strong client relationships. Meet and exceed sales targets through effective pitching, negotiation, and client retention strategies
Partnership Development – Develop, execute, and manage high-impact partnerships, brand activations, collaborative events, and custom programming with cultural and commercial partners
Oversee the administration of partnership contracts and deliverables
Client Relationship Management – Maintain strong and professional relationships with both commercial and institutional clients. Provide support, guidance, and timely communication to partners throughout the partnership lifecycle
Market Development & Research – Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and potential collaborators in the art and lifestyle sectors. Conduct independent research and analysis of industry trends and sales prospects
Brand Representation – Represent ArtReview at major international art fairs, exhibitions, and industry events (including evenings and weekends as required). Act as an ambassador for the brand among stakeholders and within relevant professional networks
Reporting & Insight – Prepare reports and updates for the Publisher, summarising sales activity, client feedback, and partnership performance. Monitor competitor publications and market developments to identify emerging opportunities
Candidate profile:
- A proven track record in advertising/media sales and partnership development, ideally within the arts, culture, or lifestyle sectors
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across diverse clients and partners
- Experience in negotiation, account management, and meeting ambitious sales targets
- Excellent presentation skills and a high level of professionalism
- Creativity, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- A solid understanding of the European contemporary art landscape
- Availability to travel within Europe and attend events as required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)

Location: Remote (within Europe)
Requirement: full time / five days per week
Duration: This position is to provide maternity cover and is fixed term contract for one year
Anticipated start date: 1 November 2025
