Artist Kiripi Katembo Siku, whose work included capturing the life of people in Kinshasa by photographing reflections in puddles, has died of cerebral malaria, aged only 36. His work has been shown internationally including at the Venice Biennale, the Berlinale, Bamako Encounters, the Rencontres d’Arles and can currently be seen through 15 November 2015 in Beauty Congo – 1926-2015 – Congo Kitoko at Fondation Cartier, Paris.
