Christian Viveros-Fauné joins University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum

Christian Viveros-Fauné has joined the University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum as curator-at-large. He took up this position in early August, and will also serve as the 2018–19 Kennedy Family Visiting Scholar at the USF School of Art and Art History.

A curator, art critic and regular contributor of ArtReview, Viveros-Fauné was awarded the 2010 Creative Capital/Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant and the inaugural Critic-in-Residence at the Bronx Museum for 2010/2011. He has been a lecturer at Yale University and Pratt Institute as well as a visiting critic at the Rhode Island School of Design and Holland’s Rietveld Academie. His latest book, Social Forms: A Short History of Political Art, will be released by David Zwirner Books in October 2018.
