The election of Haryanto Adikoesoemo, Jill Bernstein, Stéphan Crétier, Trinh D. Doan and Jill Cooper Udall brings to a total of eight, the new members appointed under Melissa Chiu’s new directorship of Smiithsonian Washington’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Gardem, which is celebrating its fortieth anniversary this year.
New acquisitions during Chiu’s tenure to date include Yoko Ono’s video Sky TV for Washington (1966/2014) and Dan Colen’s paintings Let’s Spend The Night Together (2012) and The Pastoral Symphony (2012).
