Artists Christoph Büchel and Olivier Mosset, curator Urs Stahel and architect duo Staufer/Hasler are the winners of the 2015 Swiss Grand Award for Art / Prix Meret Oppenheim. Created in honour of Swiss surrealist artist and photographer Meret Oppenheim, the prize has for fifteen years been rewarding figures from the worlds of art, art mediation and architecture, whose work is of particular relevance and importance to contemporary art and architecture.
Each laureate will receive CHF 40,000 (£28,000), as well as being featured in a special publication. Prizes will be awarded on 15 June to coincide with Art Basel, and ahead of the opening of the Swiss Art Awards 2015 exhibition which will showcase all nominees from the second round.
