Aiming to bring contemporary Chinese artists to the fore of the international art scene, China-based K11 Foundation has announced a series of new partnerships with European institutions.
They include the Tianzhuo Chen exhibition at Palais de Tokyo in Paris (through 13 September), the first solo UK institutional exhibition of Chinese artist Zhang Ding, entitled Enter the Dragon, at London’s ICA (12 October – 25 October), and a Dali exhibition – the first of its kind in China – in dialogue with works by contemporary Chinese artists, exploring the legacy of surrealism in their work. The exhibition will open in November at chi K11 art museum in Shanghai, in collaboration with Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation in Figures, Spain.
