Artist Do Ho Suh has been announced as the winner of the Ho-Am Prize, in the arts category. Established in 1990 by Kun-hee Lee, the former chairman of Samsung, the prize supports Koreans who have made significant contributions to the fields of science, engineering, medicine, the arts and community service. Suh receives 300m Korean won (approx. £200,000), as do the winners in the other categories.
