Thieves stole a Van Gogh painting from Singer Laren Museum in the Netherlands. The museum was closed like most institutions and business in the country to comply with government mandates to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The Parsonage Garden at Nuenen in Spring (1884), which was on display as part of a current exhibition was on loan from the Groninger Museum when it was taken during the early hours on 30 March. Museum officials have launched an investigation with help from forensic investigators, detectives and members of the national crime squad specialised in art theft.
