Brett Littman has announced he will be stepping down from his role as executive director at The Drawing Center in New York as of May, after leading the institution for 11 years. He will take up the executive director position at the Noguchi Museum and Garden in Long Island as of May 2018.
During his time there, Littman worked on over 75 exhibitions and produced more than 50 catalogues. About his tenure, the board said: ‘Brett steered The Drawing Center through a successful capital campaign and seminal building project. He shaped a dynamic curatorial voice for the institution, and established The Drawing Center as an innovative leader in the arts.’
