Paintings, sculptures and works on paper by Cy Twombly will be the inaugural exhibition in Gagosian’s new London gallery, when it opens in Mayfair on 8 October. Unseen large-scale paintings from the artist’s late Bacchus series (2004–8) will be among the works included, alongside loans from other collections.
