The Mike Kelley Foundation for the Arts is launching a $250,000 grant programme, aimed at supporting small arts organisations in Los Angeles, the LA Times reports. Following the late artist’s will, grants from $500 to $50,000 will be distributed to support the production of ‘compelling, inventive, and challenging projects by visual artists or artists’ collectives working in any medium’.
Once the financial infrastructures are set up, the Foundation hope to make it an annual grant opportunity.
