A panel with experience across the artworld in Asia considers how a year unlike most others has affected ways of working, and the functioning of what until now often seemed like an indestructible, monolithic global network of art. Has it changed the narratives or histories we present? Have we redefined the relationship between the global and the local? How has the disruption of systems of travel, transport and personal communication affected the ways in which we think about and communicate art? Is the artworld still shared, connected and networked? And how, if it all, has the experience of art changed in the age of social distancing?
