Simple recipes for (not so) simple times.

225g flour
Baking soda
Salt
115g butter
120ml peanut butter (the trashy stuff, none of that health paste now)
100g sugar
110g brown sugar
1 egg
1tbsp milk
1tsp vanilla
60 chocolate buttons, or chocolate kisses, depending on what you got
Mix the dry ingredients, except the sugar. Mix the wet ingredients, with the sugar. Add the dry to the wet.
Heat oven to 180C. Roll dough into 3cm balls and roll in sugar. Bake 7min, until light brown, then take out of oven and stick a piece of choc into centre of each ball. Return to oven for 3min until golden.
Let cool. Hoard for those postprandial lulls and escaping-the-inlaws pickmeups.
