As part of the ARCO opening programme Désiré Feuerle will be in conversation with artist Cristina Iglesias about new Berlin museum, The Feuerle Collection, a new venue opening this Spring. Located in a former telecommunications bunker that has been renovated by the British architect John Pawson, the collection will juxtapose international contemporary artists including Cristina Iglesias, Anish Kapoor and Zeng Fenzhi, among others, with Imperial Chinese furniture and Southeast Asian art. The museum aims to encourage dialogue between different time periods and cultures and to offer both an alternative perception of the antique and a new perspective on the contemporary. Iglesias is making a new work for the Collection.
