J.J. Charlesworth (ArtReview), Alison McDonald (Gagosian), Jane Morris (Cultureshock Media) and Anna Brady (The Art Newspaper) will discuss the fast rise of new players on the traditional publishing field and a growing competition from the well-heeled galleries and auction houses in content production, be it Gagosian’s Quarterly, Hauser & Wirth’s Ursula magazine or the growth of podcasts by galleries such as Lisson, Zwirner or In Other Words, set up by art advisory Art Agency in Paris. The panel discussion is part of the annual Talking Galleries symposium, looking at shifts and challenges facing galleries today.
