The Teiger Foundation has announced the recipients of its curatorial grant, which supports US curators to conduct research, mount exhibitions and host touring shows. The Foundation awarded a total of USD$7 million, split into grants ranging from $50,000 to $150,000, to 85 curators.

Since 2023, the Teiger Foundation has awarded its curatorial grants following an annual call for proposals. As of 2025, it is shifting to a biennial cycle, ā€˜allowing for a deeper investment in its grantees through extended programmatic support’. To account for this change, the Foundation has increased its grant amount to $7 million this year, compared to $3.9 million in 2024.

ā€˜As we evolve our model, we remain committed to supporting curators who enrich and reframe the cultural landscape’, said John Silberman, board president of the Teiger Foundation.

The full list of 2025 grantees can be found here.
