Reem Fadda, curator of the 6th edition of the Marrakech Biennale (also included in Martin Herbert’s January & February previews list), has announced the list of 47 participating artists in Not New Now, a show that will look at ways to ‘surpass this cultural orientation towards newness’. Spanning across five historical locations in the medina of Marrakech (Koutoubia Mosque, Palais Badii, Palais Bahia, Dar Si Said, and Menara Pavilion) this year’s edition will run from 24 February to 8 May 2016, and will for the first time present its programme free of charge.
